Lynette Bromiel joined The Joseph Sears School team in 2021. To prepare for a career as a school librarian, she earned her BA from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; Master of Library and Information Science degree from Dominican University; and Master of Teaching degree from National Louis University. Before starting at Joseph Sears, Mrs. Bromiel worked for ten years as a public librarian, and spent two years teaching ELA on the Southwest side of Chicago. She is a book lover who is passionate about inspiring children and teenagers to become life-long readers, writers, and researchers! When not working, Mrs. Bromiel volunteers as a youth services mentor and literacy coach. She also loves to read, paint, practice yoga, and go on long walks with her husband and two dogs.
