Ms. Zuica Donev began her professional career at Central Middle School in Glencoe, where she served as a special education teacher and Behavior Inclusion Specialist. She ventured forward in administration at Lincoln Junior High School in Skokie where she served as an assistant principal. Before coming to The Joseph Sears School, Ms. Donev served as Director of Student Services at Aptakisic Tripp D102 in Buffalo Grove. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Special and Elementary Education from Eastern Illinois University, a master’s degree in Human Services Counseling from National Louis University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. Ms. Donev holds the Director of Special Education and ELL Endorsements and is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. It is her strong belief that parents, teachers, support staff, community and administration all have important roles to encourage our children to become active, life-long learners.
