Mrs. Toula Sideris has been teaching at The Joseph Sears School for more than 20 years. Mrs. Sideris earned her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University, her master’s degree in curriculum from National Louis University and a second master’s degree in educational administration from Concordia University Chicago. Philosophically, Mrs. Sideris believes in educating children academically, socially and emotionally. Mrs. Sideris hopes to create an environment where children know how much she cares about their education. Mrs. Sideris believes in empowering each child to embrace their own learning by fostering collaboration. It is through this that she hopes to create a community of learners. In her spare time, Mrs. Sideris enjoys spending time with her daughters, taking walks and keeping up with her Shih tzu. Mrs. Sideris likes reading, cooking and spending time with Mr. Sideris at their restaurant in Chicago.
