Mrs. Michelle Harradine has taught French at The Joseph Sears School since 2003. Madame Harradine majored in French at SUNY Brockport and earned her bachelor’s degree through the Institute de Touraine in Tours, France. She then attained her master’s degree in education from DePaul University. Madame Harradine has lived in France, traveled extensively in Europe and worked at the Lycée Français de Chicago for six years. Philosophically, Madame Harradine believes in creating an environment where children are encouraged to be curious about the learning process. With each classroom experience, Madame Harradine hopes to empower students with the skills necessary to become lifelong learners and global citizens. For Madame Harradine, speaking French is one of the greatest joys in life. In her free time, Madame enjoys reading, spending time with her family and traveling. The Harradine family regularly hosts French exchange faculty and students.
