Ms. Karolina Bajkowska has been teaching upper elementary and junior high art at Joseph Sears since 2012. She earned her bachelor's degree in art education from Northeastern Illinois University in 2010. Ms. Bajkowska believes that visual arts education provides a unique setting for fostering creativity, problem solving, risk-taking, perseverance, fine motor skills and a myriad of other transferrable, lifelong skills. Ms. Bajkowska finds her students to be a great source of joy and inspiration and her own creativity has been growing exponentially because of the ideas and excitement shown by the students she teaches. As an artist, Ms. Bajkowska enjoys drawing from observation and painting with acrylics. Outside of school, Ms. Bajkowska enjoys spending time with friends and family (and a cat), traveling, and investing in community building.
