Ms. Jennifer Arra received her bachelor's degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in Painting and Photography and her master's degree in Education from DePaul University. She has been teaching full time at Joseph Sears since 2011. Prior to her career in the classroom, Ms. Arra worked at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as the Director of Academic Administration for 18 years. Ms. Arra lives with her husband, her two daughters (both graduates of Joseph Sears!) her mother and her dogs. She enjoys cooking, running, taking photographs, listening to music, reading and writing, road trips across the county, the beach and time with family and friends. She was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for The Nora Project. Ms. Arra loves bringing her life experiences to the classroom to share with her students. Ms. Arra believes in the uniqueness of every student who enters her classroom and seeks to foster empathy and the love of learning in all of her students.
