Kenilworth School District No. 38 presented the Kenilworth Police Department with a Community Service Recognition Award at the November board meeting for ongoing service programming and partnership to The Joseph Sears School.

Kenilworth Police Chief David Miller received the award on behalf of the Police Department. In his remarks, Chief Miller thanked the Kenilworth Board of Education and Dr. Crystal LeRoy for the award.

"Thank you for being a great community partner," Chief Miller said. "We hope to continue this partnership moving forward."

The award was distributed during the second annual community recognition awards ceremony held on Nov. 12.

Community Service Recognition Awards are presented to individuals that have made a significant contribution to the families and residents of the Kenilworth School District No. 38 community.
