Members of The Joseph Sears School community showed support for fourth-grade teacher Jennifer Arra as she was honored with The Nora Project's 2023 Educator of the Year award at the annual Thrive Together Gala on May 11.
The Nora Project is proud to recognize an educator each year who goes above and beyond in living their mission of promoting disability inclusion in schools. We are thrilled to see one of our many exemplary educators be recognized for her commitment and passion to the topic of diversity and inclusion, as well as for ensuring that all students meet the Portrait of a Sears Graduate.
