Returning Student Registration
The tradition continues
If you need to visit The Joseph Sears School for registration-related purposes, we highly recommend you schedule a time with Registrar Lukasz Sikora. This will ensure someone is available to answer all of your questions.
Families of students returning to The Joseph Sears School next year are encouraged to pre-register their children as soon as possible. Pre-registration is an important part of the administrative planning process for the upcoming year.
The online portal for returning student registration will open on April 15, 2024. Please submit an online registration form through this active link: Returning Student PowerSchool Portal. You will need a PowerSchool snapcode. Snapcodes will be emailed to parents on April 15.
If you would like to be included in The Joseph Sears School Handbook Family Directory, please complete the online registration form by Friday, July 12, 2024.
Please register your child through the Returning Student PowersSchool Portal. You will need the PowerSchool snapcode which is emailed to parents. If you cannot find the email with your snapcode, please request a code through this form. If you forgot your password, use the forgot password link provided through the Returning Student PowerSchool Portal.
1st - 8th Grade Returning Student Registration
If your residency status has changed, please review the district residency requirements to ensure your child can attain district resident status. Returning kindergarten students need to use the New Student PowerSchool Portal Submission Form.
Step 1: Returning Student PowerSchool Portal submission. Completing a submission takes about 30 minutes and you will be asked to:
- Pay student fees
- Option to purchase milk selection for student's lunch
- Option to donate to the JSSPVA Booster Club
Step 2: After pre-registration, parents/guardians will receive an invite via from the school district to submit all required documents digitally.
Step 3: Confirm residency in the summer.
Please be sure your child has received his or her immunizations prior to the first day of school. Children who are not immunized before Oct. 15 will not be permitted to attend school.
