2026-2027 School Year Registration

To register your student for the 2025-2026 school year, please contact the Front Office.

If you need to visit The Joseph Sears School for registration-related purposes, we highly recommend you schedule a time with Registrar Lukasz Sikora. This will ensure someone is available to answer all of your questions.

Join our learning community! The Joseph Sears School New Student Registration Page is open throughout the year in order to accommodate families moving to the Kenilworth area, and for new and returning Kindergarten students. 

Our school does not offer in-person tours during the school day. We kindly ask that families and community members not request on-site visits, as we do not provide school tours.

Instead, we invite you to explore our campus through the video here, which serves as our official school tour.

Kindergarten and New Student Registration

Please review district residency requirements prior to enrollment to ensure your child can attain district resident or non-resident status. Children enrolling for the first time in kindergarten and first grade must be 5 and 6 years of age, respectively, by September 1st.

Step 1: Complete a registration submission through the online portal.

• For the current school year, contact the front office for assistance with enrolling your student.
• For the upcoming school year, click the registration link at the top of this page. Kindergarten and New Student registration opens the week of President's Day each year.
• Current Sears JK students need to use the new student registration portal linked above.

Step 2: After registration, parents/guardians may receive an email invitation from the school district to submit all required documents digitally. For reference, all registration forms can be found on the district forms page. 

• Student Documents and Forms: If applicable, request Student Records from previous school or services sent to The Joseph Sears School, and submit all necessary medical forms.
   
• Confirmation of Residency: The process to confirm that you are a resident of Kenilworth School District No. 38.

Step 3: Confirm Residency in the summer.
