Ms. Debbie Chen is joining The Joseph Sears School as an Early Childhood Teacher in the Little Panthers classroom. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her Master’s degree in Special Education from Towson University. She most recently taught blended Pre-K at Elizabeth Meyer School in Skokie. When she’s not in the classroom, Debbie enjoys swimming, discovering new restaurants in Chicago, and spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and dog - whether that’s a long walk by the lake or an afternoon in the park.
