Mrs. Alexandra “Alex” Cawley is joining The Joseph Sears School as a Speech-Language Pathologist this year. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Science in Speech, Language, and Learning from Northwestern University. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a licensed speech-language pathologist in Illinois.

Before joining The Joseph Sears School, Alex worked as an AAC Coach and Speech-Language Pathologist with TrueNorth Educational Cooperative 804, supporting students and school teams across multiple districts with communication, assistive technology, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Outside of school, Alex loves spending time with her husband and children, traveling, and discovering new restaurants and coffee shops.
