Ms. Kristie Cerniglia joined The Joseph Sears School as a Third-Grade Teacher in 2022 and became the Librarian for the 2023-2024 school year. She received her Bachelor's Degree in elementary education and a Master’s Degree in reading from Illinois State University. She also has a library endorsement from Northern Illinois University. Before arriving at Sears, she taught middle and elementary school library, 4th and 5th grade multi-age, 3rd grade and served as a reading specialist. In her free time, she loves spending time with her four daughters and, if time allows, to sit on her porch and read a book.
