Basketball is offered to seventh and eighth-grade boys. Each season begins with a tryout period before the first practice of the year. Tryouts will take place to determine which team each participant will be a part of. There is a blue and a white team for both seventh and eighth grade. If there are not enough players in one grade to create two teams, then all players in that grade will be considered blue (varsity). All participants will be a part of a team, and no player will be cut due to skill level.

Practices and games will take place Monday-Friday at various times before school, after school, and sometimes during lunch. Practices are mandatory, and playing time may be compromised if a player does not consistently attend practices and games. Players will be required to attend the Winter Athletic Ceremony at the conclusion of the season.
 

Equipment

All participant will be required to attend practices in athletic attire and provide their own gym shoes. A jersey and shorts will be provided by the school for games. Uniforms will need to be returned at the end of the season. Student athletes who do not return uniforms will be assessed a replacement fee.
